Wow! This was my first time working with a handyman and Thijs was great. I needed a bathroom vanity taken out and a new one put in. He took the old one out and got the new one set up as much as possible, I still need to pick out a faucet lol. He also had time to hang a curtain rod for me. Thijs was friendly and nice. I'm working on a list of things I need done and look forward to calling Van Damme Handyman again soon.

Thijs did a great job caulking the base of two shower units along with sink fixtures in both bathrooms. Setting up the appointment was easy and communication was seamless. I'll be contacting him again soon for some additional home improvement (kitchen) projects!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I default to hourly rates, first hour will always be billed fully. There is a minimum of 24 hours notice required for cancellations or rescheduling.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by getting an understanding of the work, I give my customer an estimate for their project and then schedule a visit where I continuously keep my customers updated about the project and its progress
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My grandfather was a professional carpenter and I myself was trained to be a car mechanic. I flipped a few homes and did all the work myself.
