I've worked with Rose for quite some time and her work is nothing short of amazing! The progress that I've made is due to her ability to help me to discover the "root" of my challenges and suggesting ways I can overcome them. There's a certain ease of comfort that comes with allowing her access into "my world" which doesn't come easily for me. Her insight is nonjudgmental and allows me to show up totally unguarded and eager to share. Without her help I'd still be lost in the abyss of my own madness without a clue of how to heal, grow and moved forward. I'd recommend her to anyone who's seeking wise counsel in their lives. Time spent with her is worth every second. She's helped me in more ways that I can express.

The fall of 2014 was a turning point in my life. I was experiencing a crisis in that I was turning another year older and needed to find some perspective and direction in my life. My inability to truly understand my purpose created a state of panic and anxiety and I didn't know what to do. During this time I was referred to Center of First Thought. At first I was a little apprehensive about seeing a therapist but I was immediately put at ease. My therapist, Rose Shelton and I talked about my life path. I was able to put a lot of things into perspective. I thought of her as like a coach. Thanks to Ms. Shelton I have learned to see things more clearly and a lot of my anxiety about the future has disappeared. I am still growing and learning my path but I don't know if I could have come this far if it had not been for Ms. Shelton and Center of First Thought.
