Kim Edwards

I am an educational professional with over 7 years of experience. After graduating with a degree in Biochemistry, I changed my focus to education. I started working with English Language Learners, tutoring them in all subjects. My work also included developing curriculum for English, science and math topics. I strive to make complex and challenging material accessible and enjoyable for all students. I want every student I work with, both reluctant and eager, to enjoy learning and find academic success. By tailoring my tutoring to meet the specific needs of my students and using their strengths, I am able to really engage students in the learning process. I have flexible hours and diverse tutoring experience in a math and science subjects. I am patient, encouraging and hope to make your experience in learning more engaging and rewarding. I have seen many of my students make great strides academically and feel more confidence in their skills. Many of my former students were reluctant learners, but with their new academic skills aimed for greater academic success.
