She was great with buddy. He can be a hard dog to groom and she kept me up to date with the process throughout my time away.Nov 2, 2019Verified
Sarah put both my dog and me at ease immediately. My 65 lb lab is reactive to other dogs, which means I can't take him to a traditional pet grooming place. Sarah's in-home grooming was the perfect fit. He smelled and looked great after his bath and de-shedding treatment.Jan 6, 2020VerifiedSarah's Pet Grooming's reply
Hi Kathy, Thank you for the beautiful review.
Took my dog Angie today and she came out beautiful! Totally would recommend 10 out of 10. There were no issues whatsoever and she was really nice and has a great personality.Nov 11, 2019VerifiedSarah's Pet Grooming's reply
Thank you so much for the beautiful review. It was a pleasure grooming Angie and meeting you and your Mom. Very grateful for your kind words.
After being in contact with this groomer, being specific about our needs and patient with a confirmation mix up we showed up to the appt and told that she was walking a neighbors dog. We were asked to wait about 10 mins which we did. We then knocked, texted and called with no answer. After waiting an additional 20 mins our text was replied to by an assistant and we were told that we could continue to wait or reschedule. We never heard from the groomer. This was very unprofessional and disappointing being that this was our first visit.Nov 4, 2019Verified
Sarah groomed my very anxious cat who has not been successfully groomed by any other groomer. I highly recommend her and her friend/assistant. Thank you both!Dec 7, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always include the nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and anal gland expression (if wanted or needed) in any service that I do. My prices are based on the size of your pet, whether or not extra time will need to be spent on heavily matted dogs, and what kind of grooming you want for your pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?*Grooming Certificate from the Petsmart Grooming Academy *Veterinary Assistant Degree from Prince George's Community College *Licensed Cosmetologist from the Learning Institute of Beauty Sciences (LIBS) in Boston, Massachusetts
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always been a huge animal lover and advocate. During high school I always had dog walking and pet sitting jobs. After high school I obtained my cosmetology degree, but decided to put my knowledge of hair cutting and apply it to cats and dogs.
