SCOTT FREE CLEAN SERVICES As the owner and certified organizer for Scott Free Clean, each job is personal to me. I love all of my clients as they are often repeat customers. It's an extremely personal service to organize one's home. There's a high level of respect that goes into providing organizational services, one has to keep in mine, that organization includes a "no-judgment zone" for sure. Top this off with excellent customer service, inspiration and motivation. We take time getting to know our client with compassion and understanding of their habits and specific needs. Although there is template to organizing one's home, you have to keep in mine that everyone's home functions differently; so my organizational services often times vividly compliment my clients day-to-day needs. UPCYCLE MY CLOSET SERVICES Our job is not come into your home to remake you into an image of someone else. We don't always closet follow yearly trends, we make you feel confident and look fabulous with the person you already are by utilizing what you already have in your closet.

SCOTT FREE CLEAN LLC I love organizing. I love taking a messy room and turning it into a work of art. I love the end result. And most importantly, I love the wonderful reaction I get from my client when the job is completed to their satisfaction. Priceless!!!! UPCYCLE MYCLOSET LLC What can I say, I love fashion and I enjoy dressing other people. I've always done it as long as I can remember with my family and close friends. I love seeing the end result. I always like to go outside the box and add a little pop to every outfit I create. My creations are guaranteed to bring the alter ego out of anyone. I love to provide an affordable personal service that one might not have even considered in the past. I love referrals. And most of all, I love to see the smiles on my clients faces when they realized that the outfit I created always existed right there in their closet.

    My gf and I had an amazing experience. The service was great, we felt like we already knew them, and our house...Spotless! I've never seen our stainless steel appliances so clean. Idk what they used. Needless to say, we'll be signing up for recurring jobs.

    Tonja and her co-worker did a fantastic job for move out cleaning of my one bed room apartment. Our living room, bedroom, kitchen, oven, and bathroom is clean as it was when we moved in, and all molds on the bath tub and airconditioning units are completely removed. They were professional and considered my satisfaction very important. Completely satisfied!!

    Not as clean as I expected
    Unfortunately Tonya did not clean my apartment adequately. The floor wasn't mopped, or swept up, and there were yellow stains in the bathtub. There were also places in my apartment I asked her to focus on, but those places were left untouched. Oh well. I won't be hiring Scott Free again.

    I didn't realize how much junk I had accumulated in my attic, which I need to use as a bedroom for my teenage son. Tonja was awesome! She was able to sort and purge all my stuff in much less time than I could and she had great ideas for storage and decor. The room now looks more like a bedroom than a storage closet. I can't wait for our next appointment to see what other ideas she has up her sleeve.

    Was not the meticulous job she promised. She was very very nice. And did a fine job, but I needed a very deep clean and would have paid more for a better job. There were plenty places that were not cleaned to my satisfaction. My bathroom did not have that just cleaned smell. Does anyone know how to really clean anymore?

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have different price points for our services based on the square footage of the home, distance and level of effort from onsite site inspections of jobs to be done. Home organization can be as low as $175 for five hours to $350 for eight hours. And for our residential price points, we can go as low as $110 for 3 hours to as high as $180 or above. It depends on the volume of work that needs to be done onsite. But we are extremely reasonable and competitively priced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As the owner I like to meet with the client for the first initial service to get a better idea of their day to day activities within the home. This allows me to make a better assessment on the services that would best adhere to their lifestyle for their home and for their family. It's important that we not only provide a service for our clients, but that we build relationships. It's important that we as the service provider remember that the client is allowing us into their space. It is imperative that we respect that when we provide services within the home. We clean and organize the home as if it were our own, and that's reflective of the compliments we get upon completing the service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner I received my certification in organizing three years ago. I'm extremely thankful that I got it when I did as it has helped me immensely on how to streamline organizational solutions quickly and efficiently with organizing clients homes and in training my staff with residential cleanings.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As owner of Upcycle my Closet LLC and Scott Free Clean, LLC it's obvious I have a number of skills sets, I am a certified corporate and special event planner. I also have a certification in residential organization. How did I get into this profession? After providing a number of closet and home organizational services, I was often approached with residential house cleaning services while onsite. And, given home organization and cleaning go hand in hand, I thought why not start up a cleaning service where I can offer professional home organization and cleaning at the same time.
What types of customers have you worked with?
With Upcycle My Closet, LLC I've had customers who needed styling for special events, assistance with creating capsule wardrobes for international trips, closet organization and home organization and most recently residential cleaning.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We performed a concurrent organizational project on a Doctor's whole home starting from the basement and ending with the top floor bedrooms. She had recently downsized her home to a smaller home and needed consultation with creative storage solutions from a 5000 square foot home to a 3000 square home. This project took a month to complete because we had to customize our scheduling to adhere to the doctors schedule. The end result was FABULOUS!!! She has now hired us to do bi-weekly house cleaning for her home.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's really important that the customer has discussed their needs with their cleaner and organizer, i.e. walk through etc or via phone before their cleaner or organizer arrives onsite. If the customer doesn't feel comfortable with the provider of the services, then that customer needs to look elsewhere. This is your home, what you don't want is to feel uncomfortable in your own home. It's important to build relationship with the provider and vice versa. This will more than likely and often times lead to repeat business. Also, punctuality, professionalism, great customer service and great reviews are important as well.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers will need to be a little organized in selecting what areas within their home require the most cleaning and organization. You want to get the maximum benefit for the money being spent. I say this, because knowing which rooms or space within your home requires the most cleaning and organizing will help the customer in maximizing and getting the most usage out of the cleaner and organizer onsite. Also, punctuality, professionalism, great customer service and last but not least, reviews, reviews and more reviews!!!
