FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Cleveland Park location specializes in one on one personal training and small group (2-3 people) training. We offer a variety of programs for every BODY and every BUDGET. Each program is individualized based on your specific goals/needs and includes progress tracking, nutrition coaching, mobility, functional movements and strength training.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in this process is to meet with the owner or PT manager for a free fitness consultation. During the consultation we will tour the studio, discuss your exercise/medical history and fitness goals, then review our programs to see what works best with your schedule and budget. During the first session we go over a proper warmup: 10-15 minutes of cardio, foam rolling, and dynamic stretching. Once the client is comfortable, this will be completed before each session to improve performance, increase calorie burn and decrease chance of injury. During the second session, we will review the warmup then do an overall assessment to determine current baselines for strength, cardiovascular conditioning and body composition. We will use this information to build the proper program, set tangible goals and track progress over time. After the intake, the client is assigned and introduced to the trainer that best fits their personality, schedule and unique goals. The owner will then meet with the trainer monthly to check on the progress and help when needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Foundation Fitness has been in business for 11 years and the Cleveland Park location has been around for more than 20 years. All of our trainers have current Personal Training Certifications, are CPR certified, and several of our trainers have degrees in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology. We put a large emphasis on having a growth mindset and continuing to learn, so our trainers also have a wide variety of other certifications such as: nutrition coaching, corrective exercise specialist, post rehab, mobility specialist, TRX, USA Weightlifting, and USA Powerlifting to name a few.
