It's been great working with Tariq! He did an amazing job with bringing my first SaaS idea to life and we're almost done with the final phase of my second idea. I'm excited about the BETA launch because the development is ahead of schedule (despite me wanting to change/add some things), but the entire experience has been worth it. I highly recommend Tariq if you're looking for a developer who really knows what they're doing and doesn't mind including you throughout the process so you'll know (and be able to see) what's going on every step of the way.Aug 27, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I often see software developers pricing their clients hourly for their development efforts, but I don't price this way as I find it unfair to you. After learning about what a potential client would like built I give them a complete price broken down across multiple milestones. I do this as opposed to hourly pricing for the following two reasons: 1.) Expectations Are Set Early - With a milestone based pricing agreement the incremental steps of developing your app are made clear from the very beginning. My clients have found it very helpful to have the road map of how their app will be built from the very beginning. 2.) It Builds Trust - Milestone based pricing agreements are an excellent way to build trust between myself and my clients. It demonstrates to everyone involved in the project that we're in this together from the very beginning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1.) Project Discovery - After you reach out we'll schedule a FREE consultation to chat either over the phone or through Google Meet to learn more about what you'd like built and if we're a good fit. 2.) Informal Proposal - I'll then send out an overview via email on the features you'd like in your app, the estimated time to delivery, and a price range estimate. If your ok with what I propose then we'll move on the next step otherwise we'll talk some more about your concerns. 3.) Formal Proposal - On your verbal approval of the informal proposal I'll send over a full proposal detailing all the milestones, delivery dates, and prices due at each milestone and a service contract. After your review and approval we kickoff the project 😁. 4.) Project Kickoff - The last stage of my onboarding process is my kickoff meeting. In the meeting I detail my process and tools I'll be using the build your app, and how I'll demonstrate progress along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and have 5 years of experience of developing customer facing apps, and backend software across 5 different industries.
