Introduction: My work stands out because I can relate well with people. Kids really enjoy hanging around with me, I've been able to keep kids entertained even when it's raining. I've often been invited out for meals or private parties, I've been invited to visit pretty much every school in the country I've worked with. I like seeing people's reactions to my stories. I used to be a special education teacher and still enjoy making connections for people of all ages, which can be hard when there isn't much time. I like meeting and learning about others, much of the information I know has come from the interactions with my guests.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking for the human interest side of history, I'm your guide. I enjoy getting into the stories about the people and events that shaped the Capital of the United States. I am great with young kids and have worked with many veterans as well, I feel I can entertain any type of group in DC. Professional guides in DC charge $40 per hour, transportation is additional and most transportation companies charge for a 4-5 hour minimum. Choosing a tour guide can be a big risk, many can be quite boring, so if you want to learn and have fun choose Brian McNeill when touring in DC.
