- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial phone & email contact to forge mutual understanding of the project's scope, field, length, price, and deadline. Perhaps agree on an initial sample if it is a long project, to make sure that client is satisfied before he or she makes full commitment. Establish clear lines of communication so that any uncertainties can be resolved as translation proceeds. Half payment at outset, half upon satisfactory completion, usually via PayPal or personal check.

2.5 years translating to English for Spanish language news agency. Certified for Spanish to English translation by the American Translators Association, the gold standard in the USA.
