What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a 3k, 6k, 9k pricing system as a general rule. I typically start the majority of my projects at 3k for full design & build or simply work at an hourly rate of $100 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Collect requirements, define problems, present solutions, deliver.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA - Print Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design and 10 years applied experience building websites.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Design graduate from the Corcoran turned front-end developer. I've also always loved building things as well as solving problems.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest doing your research and knowing what it is you need, starting small and building up to where you want to be. I've found tons of projects on this site from people who clearly have no idea what is involved in the kind of work they are requesting from me with incredibly unrealistic budgets.
