Overall excellent and quality workmanship.
Making an appt and speaking with a real person was easy on weekday but I got a robotic text response on weekend.
Knowledgeable technician, Al, who was friendly, careful and skilled. Fixed gas fireplace and uncovered source of problem as the switch when I thought it was the thermopile. Price of $129 very reasonable and much better than another competitor and they agreed to come when convenient to me. Would easily hire again. Very good company.

Great experience with Chimney Experts. We’ve had serious flooding issues with our chimney, so I posted to thumbtack for help. They responded quickly, gave a free estimate, and a quick and affordable repair. We had the whole chimney liner replaced and a new cap installed to prevent rain from entering our basement. They cleaned up afterwards and were very friendly and professional.

Al came out initially on time (early actually!) was exceptionally professional and gave a tiered quote on work that “needs” to be done and “could” be done with fair pricing. We scheduled the work for a later date and Al returned and did a fantastic job! He was punctual (again) and efficient-completing all the agreed upon work in a timely manner. He also plugged a hole in the back of our fireplace we didn’t know about until we removed the wood burning stove and filled extra cracks on the chimney after capping it.
I would definitely hire him again and have even referred him to some friends and relatives... 5+ stars from a very happy customer!
