FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are multiple package options for all my services including nutrition and health coaching. My goal with my pricing is to make all my services very affordable to all. I've done extensive research on pricing for the services I provide. I offer affordable programs without sacrificing quality. If you purchase more than one service (such as nutrition coaching and personal training-a popular combo), you reap more savings as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No matter what service you choose, we have an initial phone consult to get acquainted and do a goal overview-this is free and no commitment required. At the end of the phone consult, you then decide if you want to move forward. Upon your decision we set up the next session and depending on what service you chose, what's next is different. For example, the personal training service we set up a fitness assessment upon agreeing to move forward. During the fitness assessment we take care of preliminary paperwork and perform several fitness tests to establish a fitness baseline, which also helps me with your programming. After the assessment we can schedule your first training session- or all of them (some customers want to know their schedule well in advance). Health coaching and nutrition coaching is virtual and I have clients all over the U.S. The process for coaching is upon agreeing to move forward I send you several documents, which I need returned 24 hours before your first session. Payment is due in full for all services at the start of our first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and experience are unique. I started my career training healthy individuals and through my graduate program and clinical experience, I was fortunate to work with patients in rehabilitation settings such as cardiac, pulmonary, renal, Parkinson's disease, stroke, diabetes, oncology, and adolescent weight management and bariatric services. I have a BS in Behavioral Health and Nutrition from the University of Delaware, a Strength and Conditioning Minor, and a MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware coupled with an ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification. Additionally, I am an ACSM Exercise is Medicine® (EIM) Credential Level-III provider, an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, and I'm ACLS and BLS certified. I also have several other group fitness certifications, which include barre and spinning.
