About this pro

How does your service stand out?

We are not your average massage place where you go in and they really are just trying to get you back out the door. At C & M Bodywork, your massage starts once you are on the table and you get massaged the entire time. No deduction of time because of paperwork, linen changes, etc. No fru-fru, quick rub stuff, you get a quality massage the entire time.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Easing and taking away the pain that most people are living with on a daily basis. There is no greater satisfaction than to be of service to others. Loving what you do is a great bonus.

Yes, we are required to do continuing education for license renewal. I keep abreast of what is happening in the massage world all the time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always had the interest to do massage, but just never acted on it until I started doing Reiki for dogs. I was invited to a Reiki festival to be there for the people who had brought their dogs, but nobody did. Long story short, I started doing people and wanted to expand upon that. So, here we are.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Massage to relieve stress, tension, pain, etc, or just for relaxation.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client came in with a pain level of 9, and after working with her for 3 weeks her pain level had been brought down to a 2. A therapist that I was mentoring at the time had also worked with her and told me, "You can tell you've been working with her, she is looking great!"
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for the little guy, because you are just a number to the corporate giants.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
They are missing the best massage eh-ver! ;-)
