Personal Chef

We hired Chef Sophia Morris for my friend’s bachelorette party. She helped us put together an amazing menu with multiple courses. She was fun and an unbelievable chef. The food was delicious and all the flavors were exceptional. She really made the whole experience delightful. I would highly recommend hiring Chef Morris for your next dinner party!

I was so happy that she was available on the last minute. She was so friendly, responsive and professional. She was punctual and setup the table so beautifully, and of course the most important the food was so GOOD! I would recommend and definitely use her again!

I was put in a tough position as my usual caterer/chef could not do the job as he got sick with coronavirus. I Contacted Chef Morris and she responded within a half an hour And was very professional. I gave her my menu and she said she could accommodate and it was not a problem, and her price point was amazing. She showed up early with Jennifer and they got down to business for 3 1/2 hours nonstop. The meal was amazing for 15 of my guests. It was my cousins 37th birthday and it was surprise party , but the real surprise was how amazing all the food was. The plating was on par with high end steak houses in Center City Philadelphia. These two women were bosses in the kitchen. From prep to clean up they crushed it. I will continue to use them and Recommend them to anyone who needs catering or a personal chef for a private event. Keep rocking out friendly fire.!!! 10 out of 10 !!!

It was my wife’s Birthday and the surprise was Outstanding! She really enjoyed the service and the food was impeccable! The presentation of the entree was splendid and the desert was decadent. It helped to make my wife’s birthday a “True Blessing” and a Grand show of appreciation. We will definitely use Friendly Fire again.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    It’s fair, and highly competitive for the quality I offer. Fully serviced events include labor, rentals if needed, tax, just like any other catering company. Personal chef you may pay for food but it really comes out the same. Drop offs available in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and nearby.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    They call or email me with information about their event. (Date, time, guest count, types of food the want, type of event they want...passed hor douerves, cocktail party, wedding, birthday, larger corporate events, buffet, plated, chef attended action stations, private in home multi course dinner , drop offs and everything in between.) I give an accurate estimated quote on free 20 minute consultation call. Guest makes a 50% deposit and sign contract to secure event and allow me to staff and create custom menu! I plan everything- Day of event guest pays remaining bill upon arrival we just show up and knock it out so they only have to relax and enjoy the event. We leave 30 minutes after dessert is served everything clean and put away (full service).

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I began in the Deli at Harris farmers market in Atlanta GA.. and became a cook within a few months at 15 years old. With a lot of natural talent, desire to learn and strong work ethic I moved quickly up the ranks with in different 5 star restaurants and casinos.
