My firm has been using GKM since early 2018. Viji, Karthi & their team have assisted us in the sourcing process from start to finish and made it as painless as possible. We currently have 2 full time bookkeepers at GKM and that number is set to grow - we have also increased our client head count seamlessly at the same time. GKM has been able to provide us with a skill set that other similar companies have struggled deliver with consistency. When we started the engagement, we were pleasantly surprised with GKM’s straightforwardness in giving us feedback about subjects that they didn’t have complete access to. For example, I wanted them to work on a relatively new software. Though GKM is thoroughly capable with most software in the industry, they were really forthcoming on the training they would need with this particular software. This quality is what gave us the security that we were working with real professionals. My practice has done more work in the last 2 years with GKM than we have previously done through almost half a decade! Now that is something!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tax returns are billed on a per return basis, depending on their complexity.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can prepare the tax returns for you. We complete the return through till clearing diagnostics. Any questions, notes, issues arising due to lack of information will be provided on an excel or word document – Open points. Any changes to be made will be based on answers to those points. Any work papers prepared will also be provided.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
GKM has CPAs, Chartered Accountants and MBAs who are trained in depth in US tax laws. GKM has continuous learning and upgrading programs and CPAs from the US are assigned to regularly train our preparers located offshore, using case studies and other developmental tools.
