I reached out to Nicole about helping me set up a small/medium garden at a rental home in Central Florida. I wanted something that I could sit in and enjoy and keep up with on my own, at least for the most part. Over a series of a few weeks, her team built and installed three gorgeous brushed metal beds in a configuration that provided enough light for the sun lovers and took advantage of the shady side of the area, which has always been something I struggled with. I love my garden and get a lot of compliments from it on passers-by. I've seen other people pop up with little gardens of their own in the area and like to think I'm an influencer now!

Very pleased with final outcome. as suggested I saved 4 bags of mulch for next month. Very easy to work with her.
Details: Residential • Yes, I will provide the mulch • Small (less than 500 sq ft) • No, I will need the professional to prep the area for me • I've never applied mulch to this area

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the size of the project, existing site conditions, materials selected and the level of ongoing support needed. Every project starts with a consultation so I can understand your goals and provide a clear, customized estimate. I focus on creating high-quality, Florida-specific edible gardens designed to thrive, not one-size fits all installations. There are no hidden fees and I'll discuss all costs before any work begins.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a consultation to discuss your goals, experience level, budget and how you want to use the space. Next, I evaluate your site's sunlight, soil, drainage and growing conditions before recommending the best layout and plants for our tricky climate. After presenting a customized plan and estimate, I schedule the installation. Once the garden is complete, I provide guidance on planting, maintenance, harvesting and seasonal care so you feel confident about maintaing your new garden.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Florida Master Gardener in Training and have a PhD in Growing Food Just About Anywhere and Teaching Others To Do the Same from the School of Hard Knocks (it's a joke!).
My experience comes from extensive hands-on experience in the garden, self-directed study and continual education focused on edible gardening, soil health and growing food successfully in Florida's unique climate. I stay current on best practices through ongoing research and practical application, and I specialize in designing productive, low-maintenance gardens for homeowners and small commercial spaces. My approach combines practical experience with evidence-based growing techniques to create gardens that are both beautiful and productive.
