Hi I have been recognized as a top professional math tutor in the USA from 2015 to 2020. In addition, I passed the Professional Math Teacher Certification Examination and hold an educator certification from IXL. With many years of experience in math tutoring, I specialize in the most levels and subjects. These include Middle school Math, Geometry Honors, Algebra 1 & 2 Honors, Trigonometry Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors, College Math, College Algebra, and standardized test prep like the SAT, ACT, GED, and C.L.E.P., among others. My teaching methodology focuses on explaining concepts clearly and reinforcing them with a wide variety of examples. I ensure students gain a strong understanding of the material, particularly in Geometry and other math subjects. I believe that math becomes simple once it is fully understood.

Jay is the best tutor I have ever had. He has seen me from middle school all the way to me getting my Masters degree. He is very patient with me and really makes sure I understand the material. He is also very adaptive and you can tell he really cares for students. He is truly passionate about teaching and all around a great guy!

We have had a great experience so far. Our son has only had one session with him, but already understands the math concepts so much better and did better on his most recent test than he had the entire year. Mr. Eghbali goes backwards to make sure the student understands the foundational concepts before moving to the advanced concepts that the student is working on.
