Hi I have been recognized as a top professional math tutor in the USA from 2015 to 2020. In addition, I passed the Professional Math Teacher Certification Examination and hold an educator certification from IXL. With many years of experience in math tutoring, I specialize in all levels and subjects, ranging from middle school to college. These include Geometry Honors, Algebra 1 & 2 Honors, Trigonometry Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors, Calculus, Statistics, College Algebra, and standardized test prep like the SAT, ACT, GED, and C.L.E.P., among others. My teaching methodology focuses on explaining concepts clearly and reinforcing them with a wide variety of examples. I ensure students gain a strong understanding of the material, particularly in Geometry and other math subjects. I believe that math becomes simple once it is fully understood.

We have had a great experience so far. Our son has only had one session with him, but already understands the math concepts so much better and did better on his most recent test than he had the entire year. Mr. Eghbali goes backwards to make sure the student understands the foundational concepts before moving to the advanced concepts that the student is working on.

Jay is an excellent math teacher/tutor and extremely patient. He has tutored my son as an 8th grader for Algebra I Honors and now as a 9th grader for Geometry I Honors. Jay makes learning math easy and he takes he's time helping my son understand different the math concepts. We will definitely continue to use him as a math tutor for years to come.
