My wife and I worked with Hagen over 2 sessions, Pre/Post birth. Hagen came into the sessions with a list of possible shots but was still very receptive of the ideas we presented and found a way to incorporate them into his plan. During the first session my wife actually started getting some contractions. Hagen was extremely patient and went above and beyond to reconfigure shots on the fly and help make her more comfortable during the session. Going into the second session, as new parents, we were incredibly nervous as it was our first trip out of the house with our newborn son. Hagen, very thoughtfully, took the time to listen to our thoughts concerns once more and happily adjusted the shoot to ease those concerns. It truly was a pleasure to work with someone who puts an equal emphasis on both the quality of service and the quality of the finished product.

Hagen was polite, professional and timely! I was behind on a deadline for some photo and video work. Hagen was not only able to shoot, edit and get my photos and video back to me on time he got everything done early! The finished product was better than I could have imagined. Hagen was hired as a photographer for my lookbook project. Working with Hagen was an enjoyable experience that went smoothly. In preparation for the shoot, Hagen asked detailed questions to get a solid understanding of what I expected as the end product. He arrived on time, well prepared, and ready to shoot. Hagen showed great communication skills while directing the models hired for the project. Hagen an his equipment even braved the weather when it started to rain during the shoot. I have and will continue to recommend Hagen as an experienced, dependable photographer.

I like meeting face to face with people, especially new customers. It's important to retain at least some of the formalities in this digital age!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Film/Video/Media. I specialize in all things Cinematography as well as Audio Production.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been heavily into the technical side of life. Always taking things apart and tinkering, around Junior year of High School, I began to notice that camerawork was consumingly becoming a life long passion of mine. I've dedicated my life to learning something new each day. Every project, every photo, every anything is an opportunity to grow.
