Introduction

I have been a tutor since 1992. I am very patient with children and young adults, can explain in every detail, not willing to give up until we get the results we want. I have a background of dentistry where I taught dental college students. I worked as a Math instructor at Mathnasium. I worked at IIHCP as a Chemistry , AP, Nutrition instructor. Currently I am working at AA tutoring as a math and chemistry tutor and teaching chemistry students at Hadar High School.

I came to Ms. Rifka Rubin for Math and Test Prep Tutoring after scoring 30% on my first exam in college algebra. My professor allowed me to retake the test to improve my overall grade. I worked with Ms. Rifka for three days, and she provided extra study material and taught me different and faster methods to solve complex problems. After our sessions, I took my second test on Monday and scored an 83%! I’m truly blessed to have met her through Thumbtack and will continue to use her services throughout this course to ensure I am retaining the material with confidence. Highly recommend!

My son is 12 years old in 7th grade and he was having difficulty in Math. Because of COVID, we had to find a tutor that was willing to work online with him. Rifka came highly recommended. She was is puntual and kind with him. She had him communicating and involved the whole entire time. She gets an A+ from us :)
