Introduction

Thank you thumbtack, for making me company of the year two years running!! I love what I do and I enjoy all of my clients pets as if they were my very own. I form a bond with each and every one of them and they all have different personalities. I love working with animals all day long it's not work it's my passion. my company is a little different than most I do 24 hour overnight I don't do 12 hours I can but most of the clients that I have prefer me to stay 24 hours with their dog that doesn't mean I'm there 24/7 I only leave approximately 4 hours a day to go do my dailies so I'm at your home with your pet while you're away so I stand out in that regard. also I like to be the one to take care of my clients pets be it a dog cat snake hamster whatever it may be because I form a relationship and a bond with that animal I do have a backup in case of emergencies but I like to form a relationship with your pets so if something is wrong or off I pick up on it right away and when my clients do leave for extended periods of time cruises vacations Etc the cats and dogs are not so stressed out because we have a relationship Southern much more comfortable when their parents leave when I'm there that's another thing that I find very important when a client goes on vacation or business trip I like to be at the house prior to the client leaving the home that is also something that can stress out certain dogs especially dogs that have some abandonment issues or rescues

Lisa Broder, founder of Serenity Pet Sitting, has been a second mom for both of my golden retrievers for the past 3 years. During this period she has stayed in my home with them for 2-3 weeks at a time while I was traveling. Occasionally Lisa was called upon to take the pets to the veterinarian for medical treatment as they became ill. Their health and treatment was her primary concern. The words trustworthy, dependable, and competent are the words I use to describe Lisa Broder. I highly recommend Serenity Pet Sitting for all pet needs and concerns.

Lisa has been pet sitting for our two dogs for years. One of our dogs has a collapsed trachea and can't get over excited or go for walks. I always feel safe leaving Lisa to care for them when we travel. Wouldn't use anyone else, she is reliable, clean and truly loves animals.

My wife and I were leaving the area for two weeks and needed someone to feed our outdoor cat. The challenge is that this cat (Pepper) is very shy and does not respond well to strangers. To make matters more difficult we had recently moved and did not have an opportunity to relocate Pepper so the feeding would have to take place near our old home which is Pepper's familiar territory. We hired Lisa and we were amazed and extremely pleased with her enthusiastic approach to the challenge. Prior to our leaving, she spent several nights getting to know Pepper and, more importantly, letting Pepper get to know her. While we were away, she faithfully sent text messages and pictures every day to put our minds at complete ease. I couldn't be more pleased with the job Lisa did. We are leaving again for another month away and I will not hesitate to hire Lisa again.

Lisa is professional, extremely caring, and sensitive. I just relocated to Florida and had to leave my cat for 3 weeks shortly after I moved here. I have never left my cat for more than a week and he had always been cared for by a friend. Lisa was extremely thorough regarding how she cared for animals when I interviewed her. Lisa brought her credentials with her, spent some time "meeting" my cat, and assured me that he would be cared for well. We agreed for Lisa to come to my home every other day for three weeks. She came the same time, every other morning, like clockwork. She texted me and sent photos each time she came. Gave me a detailed update on my cat. There was no question in my mind that he was being well cared for. Lisa spent more time with him than I would have expected her to do as well. I recommend Lisa without any hesitation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please call for pricing details. Dog walking starts at 18.00 Cats start at 15.00 It depends on what the client needs are.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client call me I ask to do a meet and greet at their home so I van meet the furbabys and the parents. I then discuss their needs and show clients my certifications.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always loved and have had pets my entire life . I also had my own not for profit organization called the Squirrel orphanage. I am bonded and insured & certified in pet first aid & pet cpr.
