So grateful I met Natalia!!! Each session feels like a genuine fun experience and we have so much laughter together. She gives me great feedback every time on my progress. I started Portugueselessons with Natalia three weeks ago and it has been a great experience. She is very responsive and always on time. I tried many different instructors but landed back with her for multiple reasons. She’s been great at molding the classes to my needs and overall is a very pleasant person to work with. Now that we’ve had more lessons we find ourselves laughing at various things and the time seems to fly by. She wrote the book, “Tudo Bem? Vamos Aprender Portuguese.” I definitively recommend buying it but if not then she will send you the lessons. With other instructors we had issues with the technology but using FaceTime with Natalia has worked great. Also, my schedule varies so it works well with her flexible schedule. However, she does offer set days and times if that is your thing. Most importantly she has a genuine passion for making sure that I succeed. Along with the lessons, there are assignments to do on your own and she will send extra material as well. She’s also helped me find different ways to access programs in Portuguese on Netflix and Globo. Also, you’ll see that there are many instructors that are more expensive and less expensive. I tried several of them and feel that Natalia is by far the best value. She’s already increased my confidence. At the same time it’s going to be a long but enjoyable ride to get where I need to be.

Natalia is an amazing tutor. She is so friendly and so kind hearted. I loved working with her and felt so comfortable.
My husband is from Brazil and I’m American so she helped me learn basic Portuguese. I like how she structures her classes by themes (weather, food, etc). I purchased the book she wrote and we used it during our sessions.
I like that Natalia makes you speak with her and repeat words for proper pronunciation. We had a lot of dialogue together. This is where you start to see results. She also gives homework so that you’re practicing on your own time and staying refreshed with the language.
I highly recommend her! She’s extremely smart and so fun to learn with.

For online classes I charge $50/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work using my book, educational material such as articles and extra homework sheets, but the main focus is conversation.
I've published a Portuguese book for foreigners who want to learn the language fast. It is called "Tudo bem? Vamos aprender Português" and it can be found on Amazon.
