FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I request the first two hours to be paid in advance, this can be done by credit card through my website. Each party is equally responsible for the fee unless there is a court order stating otherwise or an agreement in writing between the parties regarding the allocation of the mediation fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take various courses from time to time to refine my experience and assist the parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you talk to the mediator first get a feel for how they will treat your case in my experience mediators that are most qualified sometimes don't have the personal attention to the parties that most matters need. That going with a non-lawyer mediator is sometimes the best type of mediator as lawyer mediators were originally trained as advocates, non-lawyer mediators lack that training and are more likely to be more neutral.
