My apologies to anyone who had to read this, I am very confused by this response as I wish i were contacted by the client and/or other company. I have never met Tina, but have met her boyfriend Andre. I went to their home on 2 different occasions, First for a free visit to evaluate a partial remediation where in my opinion was not performed properly from their master bathroom. The remediation left behind visible mold in the toilet closet of that bathroom, but the client was not interested in testing at that time. I explained that with out testing the home I was unable to complete the assessment. several days later, I received another call from Andre and was asked to test the home as we had discussed. I performed 3 air tests; 2 in the home 1.outside as recommended from the iicrc 520 standards of practice the inside air tests were taken from the master bathroom which was where the drywall was removed, and in the living room just below the master bathroom (cavity test) where there was obvious long term water damage from above. The lab report revealed Stachbotrys in both inside tests and highly elevated Aspergillis/Penicillium in the master bath. The testing pointed to remediation. As for the pricing, it was explained to me that they were expecting and had no insurance. several times Andre suggested the sum of $3,000.00 for the work and build back to be performed. I explained that although I hold both an State assessors license and a State remediators license, that by the state of Florida we can not perform as both on the same project. I never quoted the job but did say that typical prices for the size of the remediation and build back project could range from 10 to 12 thousand dollars (i was being conservative). It is I that am offended by this review and would love the opportunity to see the other companies report. Tina, Please feel free to contact me in reference to your report.
