FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm not here to slam the people that taught me, but it's being done wrong. Plumbing has become an uncontrolled money grab, and it doesn't need to be. I'm new, trying to get off the ground so you'll find my pricing competitive, I'm clean cut and professional, and you're gonna like doing business with Septicam!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I know that in the Thumbtack world, you would love me to just say "hey I'm TJ, here's the price"...but you know what you hate? Us finding an issue when we get there, and the price going up. It happens in every leg of home improvement/repair. I pretty much know what it should cost w/ no problems. Just answer the text I'm gonna send you, give me as much detail as you can, and you'll love the pricing...ESPECIALLY if you have other estimates on the table. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In all honesty I was trained by some brilliant plumbers in South Florida. A pretty big company run by a pretty decent guy. I'm a superior camera guy, and I have observed the repairs I'm comfortable doing for you many times. I'll never quote anything to you that I'm not 100% confident in doing.
