Introduction

I was chairperson of the Guitar Dept. at the Philadelphia University of the Arts for over 20 years. Three of my students are now instructors there. I got my start teaching beginners. I teach at the level of the student. Seeing the growth of students as they progress. I DO NOT TEACH PIANO!!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a working pro musician all of my life. It was only natural.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm now retired and only play out once in awhile. I have a few good students and enjoy working with them. During my career I was on the staff of the Mike Douglas Tv show for 20 years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you are working with a knowledgable and qualified instructor. For some reason there are a lot of hack teachers of the guitar.
