Took a week to get the contract to me then took two more weeks and danced around and never made it out to my address to do a visual inspection then argued with me because the guy doing the drawings didn't have the knowledge of Charlotte County code and didn't know how to look it up or make a phone call to get the proper information and relied on some other engineer who he claimed was smarter and had more experience than him and was trying to tell me I needed an 8-in header to hold up a 2-in insulated panel. I have been all through my Park and there is not one home with an 8 in header to hold up any part of their roof! These people are incompetent morons and then on top of that they had the balls to steal $100 from me.

Hi Michael. We are sorry you feel this way. The additional support the engineer requested after load calculations would have added $20 or 1.3% additional cost to your project. When someones home and safety are at risk we do not design to minimum standards. We can not certify a structure built by a non Licensed resident that wants to cut corners. We were never given an opportunity to explain our reasoning before the contract was breached. We wish you good luck with your project. We would have been more than happy to start working on it with you.
