FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am a part of the National Association of Wedding Professionals and the American Association of Disc Jokey's. Both have monthly meetings and there is always a continued learning session for new technologies in the meetings.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was hired to do a job for a foundation that services underprivileged children. They wanted me to speak to the kids regarding my profession as a DJ and some of the skills needed, from a academic point of view, for my job. Being a former teacher, I was right at home with the kids and did my best to inspire and open their young minds to different careers and the importants of doing their best in school. We both had a great time during question and answer, and I danced them to they were tired afterwards. The job was for 1 hour, but I stayed for 2. I would have done it for free.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get a professional who does it for a living and make sure you feel comfortable about them doing the job they say they will do.
