About
I am an experienced and highly trained yoga therapist and yoga teacher committed to utilizing evidence-based practices and promoting a holistic view of personal growth.
Worried that yoga may not be for you? If you feel that way, you likely just haven't found the right guide. I take a client-centered approach to my work, adjusting to each client according to their unique needs and in adherence to a bio-psycho-social model of health. Forget not being able to touch your toes or balance on one foot- I've worked with clients who were bedridden and they still got so much out of our time together! I truly mean it when I say that if you are still breathing, you can benefit from this practice.
With extensive training and experience working with mental health conditions as well as chronic physical health conditions that may be exacerbated by stress, I emphasize the importance of nervous system regulation when working to rebuild strength, endurance, and resilience in the body and mind. I empower my clients to take ownership of their personal health and support them in exploring techniques that they can use to maintain physical & emotional balance long after we've finished working together.
I have additional training in therapeutic yoga for chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, and neurological conditions. I also hold certifications in Yoga for Mental & Emotional Health and Dr. Fishman's Method for Osteoporosis.
There's never a bad time to focus on personal healing and transformation and find an anchor in calm and steadiness with a consistent yoga or meditation practice. Incorporating yoga into my life has improved every aspect of my physical and mental health, and I love helping my clients realize the power they have to transform their health & wellness story.

For about the past 12+ months, Aly comes to my home to teach me yoga. She is a sensitive and insightful practitioner. She has helped me use yoga to work through chronic lower back pain instead of trying pharmaceuticals. We have made a lot of progress! She is always on time and focused on the practice and helping me find my way through it. I have no negative feedback to offer. I hope Aly has the opportunity to help others too :) namaste

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for an individual session includes updated home practice guides so you can practice in between appointments. I offer multi-session packages at a discount. Virtual sessions are not an additional cost. Home visits may be additional cost depending on location.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I encourage a free phone consultation to make sure that I am a good fit for your needs. Then, I'll send a link via email to get more information about your health history and goals. During the first session, we'll discuss guidelines for working together, agree upon general goals/ desired outcomes, then start the practice! I make adjustments every week based on observed and reported progress to ensure that we get the most out of every minute spent together.
