The fiancee crying as she watches the slideshow of their secret engagement shoot, the festie crew as they relive that weekend with a murmur of "damn....that was EPIC", and the mother laughing at the unplanned shots of her toddler making silly faces. I named my company Next Level Photography because I truly cherish the opportunity to bring your memories to the Next Level - a place where you're not just looking at a photo or video, you are re-living and savoring that moment for years to come. The fun we have at the shoot or event, when I've completed a project and the giddy feeling I get waiting to show my client the end result, when they finally SEE the end result - these are the moments I live for and the reasons I love what I do.

Shayne did SUCH a great job with our family photos! We would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for photos in the area! He was not only incredibly professional, but light and fun as well! There were times that we didn't know how we should stand, and rather than feeling awkward and turning this way and that, he jumped right in and gave us recommendations, all while joking and keeping the mood light. He even caught some great candids of the shoot that I couldn't help but hang around the house (doesn't everybody love to see a laughing face?). :)

AMAZING!!! Please read before choosing anyone else! First a little bit about my story, I was vacationing in Destin/Ft Walton and had planned to propose to my girlfriend and have a professional there to capture this special moment in our lives! Originally I had hired another photographer to take the pictures but only a couple days before the shoot they cancelled on us. With little hope for my plans to come true I turned to Thumbtack in the slim hopes that someone would respond. To my amazement and joy the only person to respond was Shayne from Next Level Photography, he responded quickly and after I pleaded my case to him he was determined to make sure I was able to fulfill my dream and make my engagement memorable. Much to my amazement he was able to make an appointment with me the very next day due to upcoming bad weather. When I finally met Shayne in person I could tell he would be the perfect person to have this photo shoot with because he has a great, funny, and charismatic personality. He enjoys getting to know you better and encourages a fun atmosphere and capture life in the moment. The best part is that while you are with him he never makes you feel awkward and tense like other photographers, his shoots have a very loose and sincere feel to them. When I finally popped the question he was ready for me and wasn’t in our space, he let it happen and was able to observe and take some amazing shots. After that he and his girlfriend had some amazing props for us to use for the rest of the shoot. Whenever I’m back in town I will definitely hire him again!! Shayne is one of the best photographers that I have every worked with and is definitely Next Level!! He is able to keep a secret, he is flexible with you, and he goes above and beyond what other photographers do. He is also passionate about doing this and in my opinion that is the best kind of person to have because he will do everything he can to ensure that everything from the experience, the photo shoot, and the pictures are Next Level! The price is amazing for the quality and what he provides. He has great ideas along with great props and was able to ensure my fiancé and I’s engagement was memorable. Portrait Session --- Family, Couples, Beach, Group, Pet Portraits $120.00 for a one-hour session, which includes a high resolution DVD holding 40-70 photos. $70.00 for a 30-minute session, which includes a high resolution DVD holding 20-40 photos. ***Family/Group includes 6 people. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to begin by discovering from the client exactly what is expected of us. What type of photos would you like (family, children, pet, couples, etc)? Do you have a location in mind? Do you have a specific set of shots in mind? Once we have a base of expectation outlined, we offer recommendations and create a game-plan, including the date and time of the service, where we will shoot, pricing, time-length, and what types of shots can be expected in the outcome! We never want to surprise our customers....with anything less than amazing photos!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Shayne has always had a deep passion for savoring memories, specifically by doing so in pictures and videos. He started NLP in 2013 after making the ultimate decision to pursue his dream and passion as a means to provide for his family, while in turn hoping to offer the families and individuals that he works with a truly memorable experience captured in one of the most beautiful formats available!
