Introduction: I have over 20 years of experience in the property management industry. I have managed apartment communities with as few as 50 units to communities with as many as 500 units. I began working as a leasing agent in Troy, Michigan in 1992. I also developed my bookkeeping skills using AMSI and Yardi property management software while in Michigan working for home properties of New York. I also held the position of community manager during the last 2 years with this company. I have been in Florida since March 2003 and have managed an apartment community of 168 units in Daytona beach and a 500-site RV campground in Port Orange until October 2007. I managed a 50-unit apartment community in New Smyrna beach as well as 25-single family rental homes from 2007 through 2011. I am well versed in all aspects of property management and the background process that is needed to be completed to find qualified potential tenants.
