The Jam Room
About this pro
I,'ve been trying to teach myself to play guitar for 8 years now, just bits and pieces of a lot of songs, but after taking lessons from Andy for the last 2 month's I can almost play 40 songs all the way thru, and getting ready to put a Band together, I couldn't have done it without Andy. He is an awesome teacher, very easy to work with, I would recommend taking lessons from Andy, if you want to take your guitar playing to the next level.Jan 28, 2015

Before I even met Andy, he had a reputation for incredible talent and his unwavering support of the music community. This reputation more than held up when I met him. He is not only musically gifted, he is one of the most passionate, generous man I've met. if a band, fan, friend, anyone needs help, he comes forward and offers his support.Dec 16, 2014
I have been working with Andy for almost 9 months and there's a reason for such longevity. He has proven to be a great mentor, encouraging me to try different songs and techniques which help me to go beyond what i think i'm able to do. He also shows great concern in teaching musical theory, which he explains with such passion and understanding of the craft that it's impossible not to be inspired by it. Overall, Andy is a magnificent teacher. Reliable, inspiring, passionate and dedicated to what each individual student wants to learn.Dec 14, 2014

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Seek out working musicians, who have experience teaching or some type of music degree. Working music tend to keep up with musical trends and technology and will often teach theory along with practical songs as well as scales, chords etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? When most people hear me sing they think I'm a natural, that I was born with a voice.. I wasn't, I worked really hard studied and did and still do extensive research on everything voice related from vocal faults, anatomy, and physiology to breathing, vibrato, and projection. you name it I want to know it and share it. I actually buy other voice teachers online programs and subscribe to quite a few guitar and piano lessons so I can incorporate new ideas and be able to relate old ideas in different ways.
