FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the type of service, the equipment involved, the condition of the existing system, and whether any wiring or troubleshooting is needed. For simple installations, we can often provide a general estimate after asking a few questions. For existing systems that are not working properly, we may need to perform an on-site diagnostic to identify the issue before giving an exact price. We are always upfront about pricing before moving forward with the work. If any additional parts, wiring, equipment, or extra labor are needed, we will explain the options first so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning what you want to create, how you want your home technology to function, and what systems you would like to include. This may involve smart home automation, Wi-Fi, lighting control, security cameras, audio video, home theater, climate control, shades, or bringing everything into one easy-to-use system. For smaller projects, we can usually provide a general estimate after a few questions. For larger or custom projects, we typically recommend an on-site visit so we can review the space, wiring, network setup, equipment locations, and the best way to design the system properly. Once we understand your goals, we explain the best options, provide clear pricing, and schedule the work. During the project, we focus on clean installation, reliable setup, and making sure each part of the system works together the way it should. Before we leave, we walk you through everything so the finished system feels simple and comfortable to use.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 20 years of experience in the smart home, automation, audio video, networking, and home technology industry. Our training includes Savant certified programmer, Control4 certified programmer, Lutron certified programmer, and professional certified network administrator experience. This background allows us to work on everything from smart home automation and lighting control to strong and secure Wi-Fi networks, access points, cameras, audio systems, home theaters, and troubleshooting existing systems. We combine hands-on installation experience with programming and networking knowledge, which helps us create systems that are clean, reliable, and easy for the customer to use.
