They were on time for our airport pickup, but after we got off the cruise, it took them over an hour to arrive. Even though we disembarked at 8:30 and had arranged for an 8:30 pickup with them, they didn’t arrive until around 9:30. Despite planning this weeks in advance, they seemed unprepared and were scrambling to find a second driver instead of being ready at the designated time. The office claimed the driver was already there, but that wasn’t the case—otherwise, we would’ve stayed inside to eat and relax in the common areas. Instead, all eight of us were left standing outside with our luggage, waiting.
It also doesn’t seem like they have a full crew with designated drivers scheduled for specific days and times. From what the driver said, he had to find his own second driver—so maybe they operate no differently than Uber and just call around to find whoever’s available. If I hadn’t already paid in advance, I would’ve just canceled and taken one of the many cabs that were already there, ready and waiting.
That said, it was definitely easier knowing in advance what vehicles were picking us up—much better than the last-minute rush with Uber. It was also nice not having to carry around his heavy car seat, since they provided one. I’d still consider using them again, but I’d triple-check to make sure they’ll actually be on time. Good thing our flight didn’t leave until 12:00, or we would’ve been cutting it close.
