There are very few people who come into your child’s life and truly change their future. For our family, that person has been Ms. G.
When Aaron started with Ms. G during the second semester of his sophomore year in Algebra I, he was struggling more than I can even describe. We had reached the point where we honestly believed he just wasn’t a “math kid.” He had always managed to earn a C, but his grades had started slipping, and after trying another tutor for a month, his grade fell all the way to an F. Graciele was a pre calculus / algebra 2 mathtutor for my daughter. We needed someone to bring her up to speed before school started.
My daughter loved her! “She’s very nice, explains thoroughly and makes sure I understand concepts” was her feedback.
My daughter has had previous mathtutors and I must say that Graciele is definitely in a class of her own. She adapted her teaching style to my daughter and within a few days my daughter was understanding difficult concepts in algebra 2. Graciele was lively with an affable personality, attentive, patient and had such a positive attitude which made learning easier for my daughter. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate covers not only a very good tutoring session itself, but also my students will have access to all the notes from our lesson. These notes will be very organized and well-written and they will be sent to their email at the end of the session. I'm available for my students 24/7. They can call me with questions, problems they got stuck on, etc, with no additional cost. If they call me and I do not answer, it is probably because I am in the middle of a session and will text them as soon as I'm done. I guide them with instructions via audio/text/call. Your success/your kids' is my success. so it's extremely important for me that you are satisfied with the results. This is not only my full-time job, but also it is my passion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them to have a notebook just for our lessons, to not mix it with any other material. I will have them create a "Formula Sheet" where we will add all formulas, tricks, short cuts that will be very helpful to organize their studies. If they want to talk to me to share their expectations before the first lesson, I will be glad to talk.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Thousands of hours of experience, teaching students since 2006. All types of students and since everyone has a different pace and learning style, it is very important that these student work with someone that besides being patient also have the skills required to translate a complex concept into something much simpler.
