FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every quote is free, upfront, and in writing — no surprise fees, ever. Pricing depends on your home's size and the system you choose, so we'll give you an exact number after a quick walkthrough or phone consultation. Monitoring plans are straightforward monthly rates with no hidden charges, and we frequently run promotions on equipment for new customers. Ask about our discounts for seniors, veterans, and customers bundling multiple services (security + cameras + fire). You'll know your exact cost before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation — we learn about your property, your concerns, and what you want protected. From there, we schedule a free on-site walkthrough where a licensed specialist designs a system around your home or business, not a one-size-fits-all package. You'll receive a clear written quote with exact pricing. Once approved, our own technicians (never subcontractors) handle the installation, walk you through the entire system, and make sure you're comfortable using it before we leave. After install, you're backed by our UL-Listed monitoring center 24/7 and a local support team that answers when you call. Most customers go from first call to fully protected in under a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
United holds three state licenses that most security companies don't: low voltage, high voltage (electrical), and fire alarm. What that means for you — we can legally install and service your entire system ourselves, from the alarm panel and cameras to the electrical work and fire protection behind them, without ever bringing in outside contractors. Our technicians carry factory certifications across the platforms we install, including Alarm.com, Qolsys, and Lutron, with continuing education required to keep every license current. Backed by 55+ years of installs across Florida homes, businesses, and commercial properties, our training isn't just classroom hours — it's three generations of doing the work.
