I have worked in the education field for 7+ years. I understand how to teach subject matter to students who don't understand. I find ways to connect the dots so students can form their own pictures of understanding instead of having them memorize and hoping they remember. The biggest joy in my line of work is when you see the "light bulb" turn on. Not just click on and turn back off but when the concept, idea or information has understanding by the student and is now part of that student's life. It's rewarding seeing students who thought that math or science was to difficult, learn to see these subjects in a different manner. They see that it's not difficult just needed a different approach as many things in life do.

David is an awesome math teacher. He helps his students apply themselves and goes through exercises to make sure they have mastered the material. I haven't taken a math course in 9 years. Tutoring with David has made this class a lot easier to understand and I am on my way to completing this course with an A! 😊💯👍

David has been consistently knowledgeable in his subject, firm but kind with my daughter. I especially admire how he redirects my daughter when she tends to slack off. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are both doing this because we care for the child/customer/person. I don't believe in absurd pricing and I am very willing to work with customers by way of discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step when working with a new customer is to assess what is it exactly they aren't understand. By identifying where the disconnect is located we can then move on to the next step of improving the understanding of the material and raising comfortability with it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 7+ years in South Florida. I taught Math for 3rd to 12th at my last school (Small private school)
