FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service call fees are waived if I complete work on your system. Labor works out to about $85 per hour, depending on the complexity and length of the job. New unit installations start at $1500, with final pricing worked out ahead of time based on the complexity of the installation. Unlike other installers, I don't mark up pricing on my units. You'll get the same pricing I do from my supplier.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most problems and situations can be preliminarily diagnosed over the phone. Once a time and date is set, I will meet you on site and assess the situation. No money changes hands until we agree on pricing and a schedule for service. Most repairs can be completed same day, allowing for parts availability (after hours/weekends).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a self employed HVAC technician for over 4 years. I also apprenticed with a master plumber (my business partner) and studied electrical engineering in college.
