Ric is so kind and patience. He helped me polish up and finish a genealogy/autobiography book I've been helping my uncle with for some time now. He interviewed my uncle on numerous occasions to fill in the holes and was great at editing. He helped pick out and organize the photos for the book. Super flexible - he's made multiple house visits when needed to collect materials. Very affordable and accommodating. He has a vibrant personality and made the process very smooth.

I started writing my book about my life a year ago with Ric's help. We spoke every day on the phone for an hour and he worked from our interviews. We are finishing it now. My book is over 300 pages and I love it. I really enjoy reading it and he published it for me too.I couldn't have done it without him. He listens very well and offers positive ideas and suggestions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base rate is $49/hour. We can also work out a flat fee, if you prefer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you have nothing already written, I will interview you over the phone, transcribe your information, go over it with you again, and then turn it into a beautiful, intelligent and entertaining book or screenplay. If you have something written, I will re-write it in small sectiions and then go over each one with you as we progress, to be sure you're happy and satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been writing professionally all my life and have over 60 awards for creative excellence.
