- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dj pricing varies widely, from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, depending on experience, event type, location, equipment, services provided, planning time and insurance. Expect to pay a retainer upfront, with the balance due by the event and always clarify what's included (setup, travel, mics) to avoid hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call, meet and discuss needs, collect deposit. The day of the event, set up, perform, break down and collect payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been performing since I was a child, violin at 1st, then several other instruments, have been in radio for years and run my independent record label, Syncopated Records.
