I would not hire this person to ANY job in your home.
I had to micromanage the process to get a decent result. One several examples shown in the photos. He cut out huge areas around the plugs that I had to fill with scrap pieces (after he was done) to remount the plugs. He didn't even need to cut many of the pieces, as the screws for the outlet ran through the grout line and were accessible without the cutting. He said he was going to buy larger cover plates. Just what you want to see with your new backsplash, is larger cover plates. This was just an overall hack job.
