Introduction: I am a back bay/flats fishing guide in the Fort Myers and Sanibel Island area. My typical fishing charter is 1-3 anglers using conventional spin or fly tackle and fishing time and varies from 4-8 hours on the boat.
I've been a professional fishing guide in this area for over 20 years and a native of Fort Myers too. Almost all fishing is done in water -- 1 to 8 feet in depth, on open grass flats or in protected creeks or bays. Therefore, it's very scenic, and no one ever gets seasick.
You may bring your own personal fishing tackle if you prefer but if not, all tackle is provided including fly rods, flies, spinning rods, lures, etc. You do not need to purchase a fishing license because I provide one for each angler.

My husband and I have Chartered several times with Capt. Paul Hobby. We take several vacations a year in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area and feel very lucky to have found Capt. Paul.
He is a fantastic guide, really finds the fish!! We had a great trip and caught Snook for the first time and a lot of them and Big!! I caught a 36inch fighting monster.........what a great and fun experience! Check out is web site for the pictures!!

Paul is an outstanding guide! I have been fishing with Paul for over 19 years. He is a true professional in that he knows the waters and the fish your are after better than other guides, he will adjust the type of fishing you will be doing to the level of your fishing ability, he is great with kids, and has a great personality.
