We had Brian from Virtue Sod put in a new backyard in July 2023. and a front yard in August 2023 of Zoysia Empire.For the back yard we paid $2205 and for the front yard we paid $1875 for a total of $4080.We also had a complete irrigation system installed the week after the front yard was put in, along with setting up an unclaimed water account with the City of Fort Myers. During the time of the back yard sod installation and the irrigation system being installed we watered the lawn early day and late evening each day for several hours each time incurring a cost of over $1400. We also hired a company to maintain our lawn on a monthly basis.The reason we did all this and spent all this money (being retired and on a fixed income) is because we wanted to have a beautiful lawn.On their website it states:SITE PREPARATION: IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY LAY SOD, THE SITE MUST BE GRADED, LEVELED, AND FREE OF ANY ROCKS, TRASH, OR EXISTING VEGETATION.(INCLUDES OLD SOD REMOVAL).Our front yard, which was put in a month after the backyard, is really shaping up and looking beautiful. It came from a different source as the back yard. The backyard is horrible and a complete disaster and totally unacceptable. In addition to the way it looks, there is a big infestation of weeds and Bermuda grass, and it is very uneven and it obviously was not properly graded and leveled and the old sod wasn't properly removed.I called and texted Brian on Friday, September 15 and talked with him. He said he would come over and check out the backyard the next morning (Saturday, September 16). I arranged my schedule to be here, but he did not come or call. I have repeatedly texted and called him since and still have not heard from him.I expect a favorable response quickly. We need the backyard to be redone properly. Please let us know your intentions so we will know our options.Steve & Beth Canton

I hired Virtue sod for a French drain install and sod repair in a section of my backyard. We hit a few snags along the way but Brian was a man of his word and got the job done right and never gave up until the job was complete.

Virtue Sod did a GREAT job removing our old sod and installing our new sod.They were very fast In turnaround time (2 days) and showed up when they said they were coming. The sod crew was professional, worked hard, fast and cleaned everything up when job was completed.
