My wife and I really can't recommend Jeff enough. From the beginning, he impressed me because he was the only photographer we contacted that actually wanted to sit down and talk with us in person, which was important to us. He worked with us throughout the wedding planning process (often reminding us of other things we needed to do!) and was always an immaculate professional. When we had our engagement photos at Lakewood Brewery, he was courteous and respectful of the staff, and also coached us through looking natural while being photographed, which is difficult. On our wedding day, it was pouring down rain, and Jeff got soaking wet just to get the shots that he wanted. The online photo delivery service is really great and easy to use. We've had so many compliments on his work during our wedding and afterward, and I think we've found our official family photographer.

My boyfriend and I were wanting to get graduation photos taken for our college graduation and we were working with a small budget so we were looking around to split one session between the two of us. Looking around online at different photographers in our area, a lot of them were out of our price range. I took a friend's advice and looked on CraigsList and found a posting for TneOhFive Photography. So i reached out to Jeff and explained to him what we were looking for. He responded almost immediately and we set up a date to meet and go over the logistics of everything. The first meeting went great, my boyfriend and Jeff hit it off well and we all got along great so we knew we had picked the right photographer. We set up a date and location for the shoot and a few weeks later we met up. We had a blast taking the photos and spending time with both Jeff and his wife who had come along to help with his equipment. After the shoot he promised to have the photos ready in a week, and he did. When we got the link and started looking at the photos we were astonished, they were better than we could have imagined, and because we were a couple Jeff had decided to through in a few couples photos for us. Jeff 100% stands behind his work and his satisfaction guarantee. He is outstanding and I recommend him to everyone I know that needs a photographer!

I've worked with Jeff as his second shooter at a wedding and was really impressed with his professionalism, hard work and creativity. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning, researching, and practicing to improve my abilities. I keep up to date with what's going on in the field through my PPA membership (Professional Photographers of America). I spend a lot of time collaborating with other photographers through message boards and meet ups, and I actually offer lessons to help people be better photographers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into photography when I decided to buy my wife a DSLR camera for her birthday because she had been wanting one for quite awhile. Before I buy anything remotely expensive, I spend way too much time doing research, and the day after her birthday, I bought my first camera and it was all downhill from there. I think photography is the perfect combination of science and art. You can know anything and everything about how to properly expose a photo and still take bad pictures, or you can have an amazing eye and not know how to capture what you visualize. It requires a balance. It was the science of photography that got me hooked, and it is the art that keeps me going.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I shoot mainly weddings, portraits, events, and commercial work.
