FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Every job is different in its own way. But every job has a single commonality....the need to be helped by someone in seeking information. We are a data collector and data disseminator. We earn our compensation by uncovering obvious or subtle facts that our clients are dependent upon to make informed decisions in what frequently ends up as civil litigation.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would never recommend retaining an investigator who was an ex law enforcement official. Law enforcement has a less than stellar track record in solving typical day to day cases. Homicides are different of course. But even in the case of homicides, law enforcement rarely solves cases as much as they build cases against a suspect. Stick with a civilian investigator. Of course I am somewhat biased when I recommend that you go with someone with a bachelors degree in science. I would ask them how long they have had their license. I wouldn't rule them out for less than 10 years experience. They might have had prior careers that prove invaluable to a good investigator. I would make sure they are in good physical condition as well. You want someone who doesn't have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, or someone that has all kinds of meds to take during the day. Cigarette smokers are not a good idea at night. The red embers at the end of the cig can be seen for great distances in the dark, and the smoke can easily drift into an open window.
