NOT A REAL COMPANY! Con artists posing as moving brokers caused me medical harm and destroyed our things. This complaint is about White Horse A&S llc, aka National Relocation Van Lines, aka National Relocation Solutions (they clearly hide alternate identities to prevent customers from seeing complaints such as this - I'm complaining against White Horse, but they don't use that name, at all, they go by National Relocation to fool the customers). They scheduled a pick-up date of July 6, but did not arrive. When we called, they told us they would arrive on July 7, which was after the time we were contractually obligated to be out of the house. They scheduled a delivery of July 13, but did not arrive. When we called, they demanded $2,000 on top of the down-payment we had already made. We agreed because there was large medical equipment on board that I badly needed, and that we had only rationed about 2 weeks worth of medication since they promised a 1 week delivery. They knew about this beforehand, and were made aware of it again after this exchange, and they promised a delivery date of the 17th, which never arrived. Then they promised the 20th (the latest date contractually allowable). Still nothing. They then said that they had no idea there was a problem, despite the fact that we were calling nearly on a daily basis, and that our things would arrive on Aug 05. It's at that point I threatened to call the FBI, and then they offered a date of July 27th. Our things finally did arrive on July 27th, but not before several medical complications occurred, resulting in unnecessary suffering and medical procedures. Many of our things arrived broken, including both a couch and loveseat ($1,564), bunkbeds ($187), fridge ($899), and picture frames (negligible). There were also a variety of things missing, such as a traditional tea set I bought for my wife while I was working in Beijing in 2007-2008. When we complained, they directed us to some lackey complaint company called MovingClaims.net. This company has just as bad a reputation as National Relocation. The filing process with this company only takes into account damaged goods, not contract violations or anything else. Despite this, there were still significant delays, and we finally heard on Nov 17 that they were offering us $68. That's less than 1/1000 of what they actually owe us for the contract violations, resulting medical complications, and damaged items. So now we are forced to resort to hiring a lawyer. On top of all this, they violated several federal laws, including refusing to weigh/measure the shipment in front of us, increasing the non-binding price estimate by over 200%, and not providing a final bill of lading with full inventory of everything that was packed. This is not a real company, at all. They are a group of people scamming customers and holding their things hostage. We are now dedicated to taking them down, completely. Even if we never get our settlement, we will not stop until they close their operations entirely.

Terrible service and total rip off at every stage

Office staff promptly returned my calls, movers were very nice and wanted to know what more they could do. We put signs up in the rooms where furniture should go. Movers acted appreciative of that information. My granddaughter was with me at the time and they also commented on the fact that we kept her out of their way...Perhaps people would appreciated knowing about the signs (my neighbor gave me that hint), and the safety issues of children. Nice young men. It was a hot day and they worked hard. Thanks so much. Although I don't plan on moving again any time soon, I will highly recommend them to friends.

You guys were actually not the cheapest quote I got, but I had heard good things and elected you anyways and I'm glad I did. The team I got was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Even when I forgot one guy had the bolts to my fridge doors since we removed them last mintue, getting them back was so easy there was no hassle at all. It took half the time expected so in the end I did save. Thanks for your speed and excellence!!

The office staff made my decision easy. The young lady who serviced me was very helpful. She explained everything thoroughly and answered each of my enquiries. The gentlemen were very professional. They handled my belongings with care and worked diligently until the job was completed. I loved the idea that I received calls several times while the movers were actually working. This showed that the company cared about the service I was receiving. I would gladly refer National Relocation Van lines to anyone. I will definitely consider using them again when needed. Thanks!!

The team arrived on time and worked tirelessly getting the household belongings packed on the truck. During the phone interview the gentleman asked me questions to determine the amount of goods to be moved and gave an estimate of 7000 pounds. The team, while loading the truck, asked if someone came out to survey the contents of the house. My answer was no. The team attempted to get all belongings on the truck but were unable to do so. We had to leave items behind and return to days later to get them ourselves. At the new location the driveway was very steep which made it hard for the team to unload the truck but they never complained. I wished the office had assigned a third man for our move. They did finally complete the unloading and assembly that night keeping a good attitude.

Moving can be one of the most stressful events in a person's life. Josh and his team made it the complete opposite! The communication between the movers as they worked was great. Even when they arrived at my destination and there was another moving company moving someone out of the building we were moving into, they just took it in stride. All of our furniture was handled with the utmost care. They took the time to understand how we wanted everything set up and did it exactly as we asked. My wife and I don't plan on moving again anytime soon, but if we did, our first call will be to Them. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

I have never rated anything as "Excellent" across the board, so this is my first time. My expectations weren't high, having had some truly horrific and enraging experiences with national-brand movers, so this was a real surprise. The office folks over the phone, were friendly, helpful, and turned a pleasant conversation into a surprisingly accurate (and detailed) quote that I could amend as we got closer to moving day. On moving day, these two guys showed up ON THE DOT, and went to work. The movers looked like executives and worked like they had done this all their lives: fast, efficient and flexible. Our stuff was immaculate: no chips, scratches...nothing. This was about as close to perfect as I have seen.

I was extremely happy with the entire process. The 2 gentlemen who did the actual move were incredibly professional, yet friendly and courteous. They took the utmost care on a very hot and uncomfortable day. They never took advantage of the time, and were always working very hard. They were most definitely not "clock watchers", yet they were never in a careless hurry to get to the next job either. I would highly recommend this team to anyone. Whatever this crew is making, they honestly deserve a raise. If the rest of your teams are this good, your company is going to continue to grow at a rapid pace. Thank you again, and thank your team once again for me

From the time I picked up the phone until the minute they drove away, my experience with two men and a truck was perfect. They were flexible about time and materials. The two guys were very professional, careful and deliberate. They did the entire move within the time estimated! I have been telling everyone how great my moving experience was. If I ever have to do this again, I will be calling! Thank you!
