Marty S. says, "Alex is an exceptional find and I marked three areas indicating just that which is the limit thumbtack permits. The other two choices are punctuality and responsiveness and you may consider that I have marked those two as well. The five are deserved without question equally. I hired Alex to install a new center-set double handle four inch Kingston Brass bathroom sink faucet and if that was all he needed to take care of he would have been in and out of here in 20-30 minutes. Yet, this aged house and plumbing had a few surprises for this skilled engineer: once the top segment of the faucet was installed, he had to connect the sink’s drain piping which consisted of two drainage pipes that then connected to a copper pipe peaking almost flush out of the wall. In the process - although gentle he did try - both drainage pipes cracked. Now I thought he’d be on the project for the weekend and it would require him to break open the wall tiles. Turned out they no longer manufacture piping that could be screwed on to the copper pipe. So, Alex who had already spent more time than he bargained for, unhesitatingly got in his vehicle drove to a plumbing supply store and came back with a marvelous fix. See image attached. It may not be as pretty as one prefers (it’ll be better looking than that once cleaned up) but it did the trick and saved a lot of time, disruption and irritation. Six stars for Alex’s skills determination and creativity. i would not hesitate to hire him for other projects or recommend his services"See more
