- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in honest, 'no-surprise' pricing. As a family-owned business, we don't have the massive overhead of the big franchises, which allows us to keep our rates competitive for our neighbors. How we calculate your quote: By Volume: Most of our jobs are priced based on how much space your items take up in our truck and trailer. Whether it’s 1/4 load or a full trailer, you only pay for what we haul. All-Inclusive Rates: Our quotes always include labor, loading, and standard disposal fees. You won't get hit with a 'gas surcharge' or 'heavy lifting fee' after we’ve already started the job. Special Items: Certain items like mattresses, large appliances (with Freon), or heavy construction debris (concrete/dirt) have specific disposal fees at the Miami-Dade landfills, which we will point out upfront. Discounts & Perks: Curbside Discount: If you can get your items to the driveway or curb, we offer a discount since it saves us labor time. Repeat Customer/Referral Perk: We love building long-term relationships! Ask about our discount for returning customers or for referring a neighbor. Free Estimates: Text us a photo, and we’ll give you a rough estimate immediately. For larger cleanouts, we offer free on-site quotes with no obligation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

From the moment you contact us to the final sweep-up, here is how we make the process easy and stress-free: The Quick Quote: Most people start by texting us a photo of their junk. Within minutes, we’ll give you a ballpark estimate based on the volume. If it’s a big cleanout, we’ll come by for a free, no-obligation on-site look to give you a firm price. Flexible Scheduling: We know Miami life is busy. We’ll find a time that works for you—often same-day or next-day—and we’ll give you a 2-hour arrival window so you aren't waiting around all day. The 'Pre-Arrival' Text: We’ll text you when we are 20-30 minutes away so you know exactly when to expect the Big Dog truck and trailer. Loading with Care: Once we arrive, you just point, and we do the heavy lifting. We take extra care around your walls and floors, and our equipment is 100% driveway-safe. The Final Sweep: We don't just 'haul and go.' After the items are loaded, we’ll sweep up the area (garage, driveway, or room) to make sure it looks better than when we arrived. Responsible Disposal: As a local business, we care about our community. We don't just head straight to the dump; we sort through the load to donate usable items to local charities and recycle metals whenever possible.

Our training comes from years of hands-on experience in the Miami-Dade hauling industry. Safety & Handling Experts: We are trained in safe lifting techniques and the proper use of equipment like dollies, ramps, and tie-downs to ensure no one gets hurt and your property stays damage-free. Environmental Responsibility: We stay up-to-date on local regulations for 'prohibited materials'. We know exactly what can go to the landfill and what needs to be recycled or taken to a hazardous waste facility (like electronics, paints, or chemicals). Full Liability Coverage: We carry $1M/$2M General Liability insurance. This isn't just a piece of paper; it’s our commitment that if anything ever goes wrong, you are 100% protected.
