FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies by grade level. $5 off per hour (for the duration of the tutoring) for all customers who come in through Thumbtack!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with a new student, my first priority is getting to know them as a learner. I take time to understand their current academic performance, strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and the areas where they feel they need the most support. Initially, I work closely with the student's current schoolwork, including homework, class assignments, and upcoming assessments. This allows me to become familiar with their curriculum and identify gaps in their understanding. After I have a better understanding of the student's needs, I begin developing individualized materials and strategies, which may include practice worksheets, review activities, mini-tests, study guides, and alternative explanations of difficult concepts. As we continue working together, I adjust the approach based on the student's progress. My goal is not simply to help a student complete their homework but to build their understanding, confidence, and ability to eventually work more independently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring students for many years, beginning with classmates, friends, and family members. During my time in high school, I also worked at a tutoring center, where I gained experience working with students in a more structured academic environment. Since then, I have continued working as a tutor through various tutoring companies as well as independently through my own tutoring business, EndlessPaths Tutoring. I have worked with students across a wide range of ages, subjects, academic abilities, and learning needs. I graduated from Florida International University's Honors College with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a minor in Statistics, and a Pre-Law Certificate. I also earned my Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2026. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in reading, writing, research, statistics, critical thinking, and analytical skills, all of which I incorporate into my tutoring.
