Cassandra, was quick to plan the meal for the number of people that I told her that would be attending. She sent me a menue sample to approve or make adjustments if needed. The menu was beautiful and professionally done. She was patient with me because I had an issue with payment. So far I am very happy with Heart and Soul. My event is in a couple of months and I am excited to see how the food taste!

When milestones occur, celebrations are a family to do. But a surprise vow renewal for our 40th wedding anniversary was more than a perfect gift from our daughter. And the magical topper was having it catered by Heart and Soul Catering & Events with Chef Cassandra and crew! The decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was inviting and filled with joy and happiness.Guests raved that the food was tasty, unique, customized, and elegantly presented! Family, friends, young and old, as well as some wedding party members from 40 years ago, gathered to cheer on the bride and groom. Further, former students from our past played key roles, completing the ring of love.Chef Cassandra was our daughters former babysitter, so shes family, and the love and care she poured into this event, at the direction of our baby girl, was a thing of beauty. We are still basking in the joy!In the words of Paul Laurence Dunbars The Party, Well, you should have been there, cause everything was rich and prime. I attended a beautiful birthday event recently, where Heart and Soul Catering & Events served as the caterer. The menu, set-up, flavors, and service were all 10/10. Chef Cassandra and her team did a wonderful job satisfying the appetites of all who attended. I highly recommend Heart and Soul for their creative displays, unique recipes, and overall great service!

I just celebrated my 60th Birthday. Everything except the catering was selected and handled by the event planner. I specifically chose Heart and Soul because of Cassandras commitment to her clients. My party was a success and EVERYONE of my guests LOVED and commented on the food. Even my picky eater son found an extra large plate and piled it HIGH with food! Thanks to Heart and Soul my party was a SUCCESS and Im so happy and grateful.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer monthly payment plans for dates booked 90 days in advance. We don't do dinners for two.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After customers contact us, we send a brief questionnaire to better understand their needs. Chef Cassandra then sends a proposed customized menu with an inclusive per person cost. If the new customer would like to talk live to discuss, that is always welcome. After the new customer approves the menu, we send a contract and require a 50% deposit to book the date. If the date is more than 90 days away, we offer monthly payment plans.

The company is led by Chef Cassandra Caldwell who has over 25 years of hospitality experience. Chef Cassandra has traveled the globe and experienced hospitality & cuisines in five-star restaurants and hotels on four continents and 16 countries. She infuses global spices and recipes into her cooking that focuses on healthy food that is good for your heart and soul. She is a certified ServSafe Food Manager and has studied at Johnson & Wales University and The Biltmore Culinary Academy. Her current affiliations include: The National Restaurant Association, The National Association for Catering & Events, and the United States Personal Chef Association.
