Creating New Tails also offers boarding both training dogs and/or pets to enjoy playing with friendly socialized dogs in a peaceful loving environment.
I have an amazing amount of love and compassion for animals and enjoy working with different dogs of all different breeds ages and personalities. I specialize in training service dogs and have train these dogs with uttermost passion and joy and the reward of training a dog to help there owners in so many different ways and having these dogs express their talents to help others is the most rewarding gift to receive.

I work with Jillian on a professional level. She came to me to train her dog to find gluten. To my surprise our relationship goes both ways, She has taught me a lot. Teaching a dog to ride an escalator was a big one. We work togeather now and help each other out or just for opinions. Jillian has a lot of knowledge and is great at understanding each dogs individual learning style.

Jillian Skalky trained and rehabilitated my now 13-year-old Sheltie Roxy, who was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2012 and given nine months to live. Jillian put Roxy on a raw diet and nutritional support for condition – I saw an immediate increase in her energy level and confidence. Now four years later Roxy is living strong acting like a puppy and off highly toxic meds. Including Roxy in the Creating New Tails training program has given my sweet girl a new lease on life.

Jill took my standard poodle,Beau, for 5 months to train him to be a diabetic alert dog. He was 7 months old at the time. His obedience improved immensely and he learned how to sniff scents (my blood sugars). I can't say he is great at live alerts and I have to train him myself every day. Jill still works with me (mostly training me to train him, I think she's finding me harder to train than the dogs :). I keep plugging along and hope that one day we become a real team. I love Jill's attitude to never give up (even when I want to.)
